Uist Unearthed: 5000 Years of Prehistory and History Told Through the Interactive Exploration of Five Archaeological Sites is a book by Emily Gal and Rebecca Rennell that uses five archaeological sites on the Uist islands to explore 5,000 years of history. Published in October 2025, it connects to the Uist Virtual Archaeology Project, an app with augmented reality reconstructions of sites, and incorporates the Gaelic language and culture into its interpretation of the landscape.
